Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair 2019

Kit for Kids saw another successful year at the Spielwarenmesse Toy Fair which was celebrating its 70th year. The show, held in Nurnberg, Germany every year, is the world’s largest Toy Fair with 68 countries exhibiting who are all looking to showcase their latest innovations. Kit for Kids were based once again in the British Pavilion, Hall 12, along with other UK companies.

The new range was received with much excitement by both existing and prospective customers alike. Feedback at these fairs is vital to our product development, allowing us to deliver a functional and current product range that is going to be popular schools and nurseries across the globe. Our main focus this year was around the Carpet category. Our innovative designs can be used for key areas of learning and development whilst adding a bright and playful element to the classroom.

The most popular product was our new Animals & Places of the World Carpet which is a 3x2m carpet encouraging a range of different group discussions about the world, continents, countries, climates, animals and multicultural studies.

Our Wellbeing range also proved popular although this is not surprising as this is increasingly an area of interest within schools. Our Yoga Position Mini Carpets and Mindfulness Carpet can help with managing anxiety, improving concentration and developing strength and flexibility.
